Pabbar Valley Trail Himachal

Trek To: Chandra Nahan Lake (4220 mtr.)

Chanshil Range Shimla Region ,Himachal Pradesh

Chandigarh to Tangnu via Shimla, Rohru (240 kms.) by bus

Day-1: Tangnu (Acclimatization Day) (Base Camp)

Day-2: Tangnu- Janglikh (2600 mtr.) 4km. (Camp - 1)

Chirgoun to Janglikh is an easy trail passing through Deudi Village. Pabbar River is crossed on the way little short of Tangru Village. Janglikh is the last village in the Pabbar Valley on this side (Over night stay/at Camp).

Day-3: Janglikh - Dyara Bugyal (3350 mtr.) 6km. (Camp-2)

From Janglikh this trrek a turn is the regal of Pabbar River is the grassy meadows of Dyara Bugyal (Over night stay/at Camp).

Day-4: Dyara Bugyal - Litham Thatch (3960 mtr.) 5km. (Camp-3)

On this way beautiful land escapes and other natural sites (Over night stay/at Camp).

Day-5: Litham Thatch - Chandranahan Lake - Litham Thatch (4220 mtr.) 8 km (Camp-3) .

The grassy meadows of Litham Thatch. Chandranahan Lake is located above Litham and has the perennial water drainage of Chanshal range in it. This lake is the source of Pabbar River and is held very sacred by the local people. There are about six, seven more small lakes or snow tarns in the surrounding of Chandranahan Lake. The landscape here presents a nice panorama and the valley below looks enormously green (Over night stay/at Camp).

Day-6: Litham Thatch - Janglikh (Camp-4)

Day-7: Janglikh - Tangnu

Day-8: Departure from Tangnu

Activities: Rappelling, Trust Fall, River Crossing, Rock Climbing, Outdoor Games and Camp fire.
